SOHO Observes March 14 Coronal Mass Ejection

The Joint ESA/NASA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, or SOHO, captured these images of a coronal mass ejection, or CME, late in the evening EDT on March 14, 2015. The CME led to geomagnetic effects at Earth on March 17.
