NASA's Solar Tour

Starting Dec. 3, we took a journey from Earth to the Sun. We made pit stops along the way to learn how the Sun influences everything in the solar system.

In 2018, NASA launched Parker Solar Probe to study the Sun up close. But the mission has also taught us much more about our solar system.

On the final day of the #SolarTour, we had big news to share: Parker Solar Probe officially “touched” the Sun, becoming the first spacecraft in history to fly through the solar atmosphere.

Below are postcards we released at each pit stop of the Solar Tour campaign.
