As Claudette was making landfall near Port O'Connor, Texas, the TRMM and GOES satellites captured these images.

This animation is a zoom down to the storm and peels away the clouds to reveal the underlying rain structure. Yellow represents more than 0.5 inches of rain and green indicates 1.0 inches of rain or more.
