Narration: Dalia Kirschbaum

Transcript:

Here at NASA we have a whole fleet of satellites taking Earth's vital signs, and one specifically designed to measure precipitation. Everything from huge storms down to individual raindrops. We can see extreme rainfall like never before, from flooding in Texas and France, to the Southwestern Monsoon and even massive hurricanes as they churn across our oceans and affect on land. Join me, Dalia Kirschbaum, and other NASA scientists and engineers, for a Facebook Live event on Thursday, June 23rd, at 1 PM Eastern. Where we're going to take you behind the scenes to where we control our newest precipitation satellite and answer your questions about extreme rainfall. If you can think of something now, add a question below, and we look forward to seeing you Thursday.
